LIVERPOOL - A VIBRANT PLACE TO LIVE
If you don’t know Liverpool, it is a diamond of a city, one with a global reputation as a creative place filled with passionate people.
The waterfront is spectacular, the music scene is buzzing, the universities are world-class and the city’s parks are bliss. Liverpool is only a two hour train ride from London too; it’s well placed for reaching most of the UK in fact. But that’s not why Draw & Code call it home, it’s because we are part of the city region’s enviable ecosystem of games, immersive and creative companies.
“Liverpool is small enough to foster community but large enough to offer opportunity.”

MALTA - HISTORY MEETS TECHNOLOGY
Draw & Code Labs is our R&D base located in Malta, a place that is actively nurturing its tech sector and acting as a conduit into the EU.
What is it like to live and work in Malta? In the city it is bustling but you are always within easy reach of spectacular natural spaces, all basking in clement weather. The technology and games industry on the island is growing, something that attracted Draw & Code when we were searching for a location for an EU base.
“Malta is where the sea meets the land and where history meets technology.”

If you have a question about careers at Draw & Code then you may find the answer here.
How can I work at Draw & Code?
Our current open positions are available on our careers page. Even if you don’t find something for you, if you want to contact us to keep your CV on file then please do so.
Besides qualifications and experience what else do you look for in an applicant?
The obvious answer is a portfolio of work that you can show us, not just list on a CV. Beyond that, our values guide us in our work and they are also a starting point to at least some of the qualities we look for in our team members. You can read about our values on our Careers page. In short, those who rank creativity, innovation, rising to meet challenges and working closely with a team as things they look for in a role will fit in well here. Oh, and it always helps to explain your motivations rather than just your skills when applying for a job.
Do you take on apprentices?
We certainly do and it’s a point of pride that our apprentices tend to stick around and grow their careers with us. Check our Careers section for any opportunities that are live at the moment.
Do you work remote or in-person?
This is highly dependent on the role. Some positions require access to our studio on a near-constant basis and others do not. While we feel part of the magic of Draw & Code is getting together to work as one, we are open to flexible, hybrid and remote work where it works for all parties.
Do you work with contractors?
For some specialist roles we may consider working with contractors.
Do you work with recruiters?
Yes we work with recruiters sometimes, but we have a small number of partnerships who we work with regularly. As a result we don’t have the capacity to work with new recruiters. Additionally not every role is one we collaborate with recruiters to fill, and this will be shown on the job role advert.
Do you sponsor visas?
We do not do this currently. However, if you are interested in working with us please get in touch so we can look into all the options available to you.
What makes your company so unique?
Draw & Code values being difference, creativity and innovation. Our team all embody these qualities in one way or another and we use these traits to work towards shared goals. We encourage everyone to collaborate and create as a team. Our projects are a mix of technologies, techniques. Some projects are for clients and their audiences while others are pure R&D and product development. We’ve completed over 150 projects (at the time of writing) so people who work here will get a varied experience that keeps you interested. Oh, and we are a little odd too, which is a very good thing.
