The Draw & Code team are exhibiting at the Wearable Technology Show in London. We will be showcasing our latest mixed reality prototypes at the largest gathering for wearables, augmented reality and IOT (internet of things) in Europe.
The show is held at ExCeL London on March 10th and 11th where the cream of the industry will also be presenting the latest advances in three fields that promise to change the way we live.
Our Liverpool team are nestled amongst global giants Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, Epson, Qualcomm, LG and Samsung. There will also be exciting talks and tech demos from red-hot smartwatch pioneers Pebble, tech- news hub Mashable and from the boffins at the technology arm of the Mclaren Formula One team.
So how do Draw & Code feel about exhibiting in such exalted company? “We’re confident that we will stand out,” says Draw & Code director John Keefe, “When we showcased our work in Silicon Valley at AWE 2014 there were people from Google and Microsoft who were genuinely impressed with our creative use of their technologies.”
The Draw & Code stand at The Wearable Technology Show will be in the Augmented Reality Village. One of the projects being shown by the Liverpool developers is their augmented gallery. John describes it as “a whole new medium for artists to explore.”
In 2014 Draw & Code’s augmented gallery featured Merseyside artists The Singh Twins and Stephen Chan, but for 2015 there will be all new collaborations with art collective The Critter Shed. Using smartphones or tablets the audience can see the paintings come to life before their eyes. Draw & Code will also be exhibiting augmented reality video games, demonstrating 3D sensor scanning and other prototypes for visitors to explore.
Draw & Code’s stand can be found in the AR Innovation Village sponsored by the good folk at AWE 2015.
