The Draw & Code team are now back home in Liverpool after having an incredible time at the Wearable Technology Show in London. Our video is a whirlwind tour from the giant ExCeL London as it hosted the largest exhibition of its kind in the world.
Were you at the show? If so you may spot yourself in the video that takes you through most of the bustling exhibition.
Draw & Code’s stand was situated in the Augmented Reality Village where the latest hardware and software was being showcased. Elsewhere at the show there were wonderful and occasionally weird wearables, smart textiles and all manner of clever thinking on display. We came back brimming with inspiration having seen some incredible new ideas and enjoyed the company of hundreds of forward-thinking individuals.
From our point of view the event was a tremendous success. We welcomed hundreds of people to our humble stand to guide them through a selection of our augmented reality prototypes, including some made on-site during the course of the event!
The Draw & Code stand was adorned with colourful augmented reality art collaborations with Merseyside artists The Singh Twins, The Critter Shed and Stephen Chan. We also took visitors though our 3D scanning experiments and challenged them to a game of augmented space invaders.
Next you will find us at the Augmented World Expo (AWE 2015) in Santa Clara, California. Until then, thank you to everybody at the Wearable Technology Show; let’s do it again in 2016!
